INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR TEAM CUP

NOTTS SCHOOL OF GYMNASTICS - TOP CLUB TEAM

In this top level competition attended by 25 teams from the best national and club junior teams from Europe and around the world, the team from Notts School of Gymnastics finished as the highest place club team in 6th place behind the national teams of Japan (who were defending the trophy), France I, Switzerland, Spain and France II.

The team of Reece Pearson, Sam Oldham, Ben Taylor and Zach Walker finished ahead of the top German team (7th), the national teams from Belarussia (8th), Great Britain!! (9th), Italy, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Australia, Belgium, Poland, Israel and Czech Republic.

In the U18 age group, Reece Pearson finished in 8th place, despite being only 14 years old and so 3 years younger than most of the other competitors in his age group.   In the U14 age group, Sam Oldham was the convincing winner.

A top level competition!   As expected the titleholder of last year's INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR TEAM CUP, the boys from JAPAN, defended the trophy and won the event also this year with a score of 249.900 points.

The team FRANCE I followed on the second place with 247.800 in front of Switzerland  (245.700). The competition included the incredible amount of 25 teams from 17 different countries! Also the boys from Spain (4th place) and Nottinghamshire/ Great Britain (6th place) left strong impressions.
