COACH FOR DEVELOPMENT AND JUNIOR BOYSí SQUADS
38 hours per week,
Salary dependent on qualifications and experience
Due to unforeseen circumstances the above post was not filled as expected and the Club is again seeking a coach to form part of our coaching team.
The appointed person will play a key role in the delivery of coaching sessions to young people within Nottinghamshire School of Gymnastics and will undertake such roles as planning and organising coaching sessions and attending regional training sessions. In addition the post holder will be required to report to a management group and collate detailed reports on their gymnasts. Thorough monitoring and evaluation to ensure targets are met is also an essential role requirement.
Applicants should be minimum of Menís Artistic Level 4 (Senior Club Coach) or else have a background in high level menís artistic gymnastics and be willing to work to this coaching level within a short period of time and have several years experience coaching gymnastics in a club, school or local authority setting. Excellent IT skills, enthusiasm and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Applicants must have or obtain current membership of British Gymnastics and full CRB clearance.
Notts School of Gymnastics is an elite level menís artistic club with approximate 120 boys ranging from age 5 up to senior international level. We are based at the East Midlands Gymnastics Centre, a British Gymnastics High Performance Centre, in West Bridgford, Nottingham. Candidates will need to have a flexible approach to working patterns as the majority of the coaching involves evenings and weekends and also mornings before school.
