The London Development Open and London Open were held on the weekend of 24 and 25 March 2007 at Goresbrook Leisure Centre in Dagenham.

On Saturday the Development Competition took place, with boys competing in NDP set competitions. The first competition in the morning was the primary 4s and Andrew Fifer, Duncan Hinchley and Andrew Plant competed with good, neat routines finishing in 22nd, 23rd and 24th places, respectively. In the Primary 4, under 8 age group, Joshua Nathan and Matthew Taberham competed, with Josh winning the silver medal and Matthew finishing in 19th. In the Primary 1 age group, Josh Avallone came 5th overall. At Primary 3, Luke Pearce was 16th and Dillan Thomas 26th, while in the Primary 3, under 12 age group, James Goode-Hamy came 10th. At Primary 2 Zak Appleton won the bronze medal overall, with gold on pommels, with Ivan Panczak in 19th, Tom Gooch 20th, Tom Brown 22nd, Isaac Glenn 24th and Fionn Quilty 25th. For many of these boys this was their first major competition away from home so they all did very well.

The London Open took place on the Sunday, with the first competition being the Under 16. Reece Pearson stormed away to win by more than 7 marks, including 1st places in pommels, rings, parallel bars and high bar. Ben Taylor showing good return to form came 5th overall, including 2nd place on floor. In the Open competition, only Nathan Dunstan took part from the club due to numerous injuries amongst the other seniors. Nathan, also just coming back from injury, came 20th overall, though with 4th place on vault. The final competition of the day was the U14, which was won by Sam Oldham, including 1st place on floor, rings, vault and high bar.
