British U12 Team Championship, Ipswich – 20th March 2005

Once again, Notts School of Gymnastics has retained the title of British U12 team champions! This competition has been running for 3 years and we have won it every year! This year was particularly good for the team as they are a young and inexperienced team - so hopefully they will continue to improve! All the team contributed important scores on different apparatus. The team members were Sam Oldham, Ryan Rodgers, Zach Walker, Toby Shouls, Sam Woodford, William Woodhouse and Nathanael Fittro as travelling reserve.

In addition to this, Sam Oldham stormed away to win the individual title of British U12 Champion by nearly 5 marks from the boy in second place - a brilliant performance. So this is again the 3rd year in a row that a gymnast from the club has won the title (Andrew Smith won in 2003 but did not get a trophy as there was not officially an individual competition and Reece Pearson won last year).

Congratulations to all the boys and to Barry, Sergei and Sascha for producing such good gymnasts!
